Sewell Mortuary respectfully announces the passing of Willie Moss on 9/4/2017.

Willie Lee Moss was born April 21, 1934 in Coweta County to the late Jessie Moss and the late Easter Gates Moss. He experienced a peaceful and uneventful departure from this life on September 4, 2017 at Summer’s Landing Assisted Living Facility in Jonesboro, Georgia.

He was a committed and faithful servant of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His most recent Christian service was carried out over the last 11 years as an active member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

Willie committed himself in holy matrimony to Dorothy Ann Hines Moss for a period of 35 years.

He was blessed with 30 years of fruitful employment as a devoted member of Mead Packaging in Atlanta, Georgia.

Willie possessed a very strong passion and a high skill set in the art of repair. He prided himself in being able to fix practically anything that was considered broken. Also, Willie enjoyed hunting and fishing and he seldom passed up an opportunity to partake in the delicious selections at his favorite dining venues: Golden Corral and Ryan’s.

Loved ones that transitioned before him include: his beloved parents, two brothers, James and Jessie Moss; and three sisters, Lillian P. Houston, Pastor Bessie Mae Moss, and Rosa Pearl Moss.

Willie leaves these loved ones to cherish his memories – Dorothy Ann Hines Moss; three daughters, Lisa Diane Moss Witherspoon (Kelvin); Cynthia Bohannon-Brown; Latrice White; three sons, Billy Bohannon (Mignon), Patrick Bohannon (Marion), and Kenneth Bohannon; two sisters, Daisy Brown and Essie Mae Kendrick; one sister-in-law, Mildred Moss; one brother-in-law, J.C. Houston; five grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
