K. K. Sewell Funeral Home in Manchester respectfully announces the passing of Willie Frances Prather on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020.

Graveside service will be December, 2nd, 1:00 PM Greenville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be December 1st from 4 to 6 PM at KK Sewell Funeral Home.

Willie “Frances” Prather was born November 16, 1946 in Woodbury Georgia, to the late Willie Nora Talley and Thomas Prather. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Douglas Prather and Upson Prather, one sister: Annie Lee Perryman. Also one great grand baby: Kayleb Prather, and one nephew Tommy Lee Prather.

She worked over ten years at the Meriwether County Courthouse in Greenville, GA., until she retired. During her time there, she never met a stranger. She was warm hearted, loving, and a kind person.

Frances departed this earthly life on November 25, 2020 at Lagrange Hospice in LaGrange, GA.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three children: James Michael (Audrey) Prather, William Fredrick (Carrie Turner) Prather, and Jonathan Thomas (Tandra Richardson) Prather, one sister: Dora Mae Tiller, three grandkids: Jarvis Turner, Sherrica Prather, and Josiah Prather. Five nieces: AnnMarie, Diane, CaTonya, and Nancy. Nine nephews: Douglas, Frankie, James, Jimmy, Earl, Larry, Willie James, Tyrone and Morris. A loving cousin Sally Mitchell and a host of great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
