Obituary For Quinard James Gibbs
Quinard Gibbs was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 1983 in LaGrange, Georgia to Trina Gibbs Rucker and James E. Houston. He graduate from Northgate High School in 2002. He touched many lives around him with his humor, laughter and warm personality. His family remembers him as having a gentle soul. He was the oldest of three children. He enjoyed going to church to praise the Lord. Quinard had a special relationship with Jesus and he knew about God.
He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, listening to music and spending time with his family. His goal was to learn how to cook gourmet foods. His dream was to become a Chef. He enjoyed cooking and mixing food to make a delicious dish. In addition to being a wonderful person he was also a very caring person. He helped cared for many family members and friends with medical needs.
Preceding him in death was grandmother, Shirley Houston Hall; aunt, Shauntara D. Holmes Opara; uncle, Nathan N. Fountain; great aunts, Dianne Reese, Shirley Freeman, Alice Sims and Mary Wingo.
To cherish and celebrate his memories he leaves a mother and step-father, Trina and Jerome Rucker, Jr.; father, James E. Houston; sisters, Mahaganie (Omar) Hines-Newson, and Tia Rucker; brothers, Quinton Gibbs, Sr. and Jerome Rucker III; nephew, Quniton Jr.; grandmother, Nancy Gibbs; grand-father & mother, Willie J and Patricia Fountain; great aunt, Gloria Gibbs; aunts, Sylvia (Earnest Jr.) Hayes, Nina Fountain and Dylishia Tolbert; uncles, Antonio Holmes, Nicholas Fountain, Darnell Gibbs, Gregory (LaKeisha) Gibbs, Brian Gibbs, Eric Gibbs; and a host of extended relatives and friends.
