Obituary For Mary Elizabeth Nalls Johnson

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Nalls Johnson was born March 3, 1921 to the late Mr. Henry Nalls Sr., and Mrs. Alice Pearl Nalls in Meriwether County, Georgia. She departed this life for her heavenly home on Saturday, March 21, 2015.

At an early age, Mary Elizabeth accepted the Lord and became a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. In later years after moving to Grantville, she transferred her membership to Greater Jehovah Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of Greater Jehovah where she served on the Mother's Board. She served as Director of Hospitality for several years, and she was a member of the Senior Choir. Moreover, she was supportive of the programs and mission of the church.

Mary Elizabeth Johnson received her education from the Coweta County School System in Grantville, Georgia. She was later united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Tommy Johnson, and to this union one daughter was born, Barbara Ann Johnson Clayton.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving, caring, and devoted daughter, Barbara Ann Clayton and son-in-law, Minister Dr. Truby Clayton, Marshall, Texas; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Alice Nalls, Grantville, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
