With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Maggie Favors on November 2, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on November 6th, 2022, at Greenville City Cemetery.

Maggie Favors was born in Meriwether County on April 10 1937 to the late Annie and John Thomas(Doc) Favors. She lived in Greenville, Ga all her life where she worked at Tidwell Nursery for many many years until the age of retirement.

She joined Red Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age. She was called home on November 2, 2022 at Wellstar Hospice in LaGrange, GA.

Maggie Favors was proceeded in death by six brothers;John Robert, Pomp Sr., Julius, Joel, Levi, and Joseph. Five sisters; Ethel, Annie Doris, Gertrude, Twins Eulise and Elise.

She leaves to cherish her memories three children, Annette `(Ray) McGhee, Trelisha Favors (Curtis) both of Greenville, GA; Derrick (Shekina) Favors of LaGrange, GA; A special and devoted niece Bobbie Anne (Edward) Terry; Two sisters Christine Reeves and Sarah Reeves all of Greenville, GA; seven grandchildren; Anniquishia Mcghee, Shakethia Cameron, Devontae Cameron, Trecursion Favors, Janiya Favors, Shaderrica Favors, Skyler Gates; five great grandchildren; Laderrica Mcghee, Bryli Cameron, Markevon Grant, Trenton Grant, Ke’Tron Mcghee. One Goddaughter Jasmine Reeves. A Godson Robert Hines(Lil man). A very special friend Georgia Ward. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
