Obituaries

Lisa Charlette Anderson was born to Charles and Shirley Montgomery in Dayton, Ohio on January 7, 1975 and fell asleep in death on June 21, 2015. She was caring, thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate, and loving and so much more. Lisa lived in Germany, Holland, Oklahoma and Kentucky. She moved to Newnan, Georgia in July 1992 and graduated from Newnan High School in 1993.

Lisa was always hospitable. What brought her the most joy were being a mother, grandmother and aunt. She was also determined and persistent. Once her mind was set, she always followed through. She worked tirelessly, always encouraging others and her smile could light up a room.

Lisa from infancy, was taught and believed the promise of the resurrection (John 5:28) She believed that God’s Kingdom will bring peace and no more death (Rev 21:3-4). We, as a family, find comfort in knowing that she is in Jehovah God’s hands and the promise of seeing Lisa again in paradise.

Fond memories of Lisa will live on in: Daughter, MarLisa Montgomery; Son, Montel Mongomery, one sister; Nikole Morrow-Pettus (Tony); granddaughter, Maliya Montgomery; nephew; Montgomery Grey, special sisters, Satara, Tabatha and Tasha, aunts; Micki, Cheryl, Andrea, Connie (Ronald,) Meritha (Donnie), and Mary; uncles, Timothy, Terrance Avant, Clarence (Richie), Paul, Douglas (Dorothy), James, Willie and Hugh Lee (Ann); special aunts Tina (Gerald), special cousins, Juanita Williams and Thomas Williams, and a host of other relatives and friends.
