Obituary For Lillie Mae Carlton

Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Lillie Carlton.

Funeral Service January 20th, 2018 12:00 pm at Sewell Mortuary Chapel in Grantville GA.

Visitation will be January 19th, at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

Lillie Mae "Sister" Allen Carlton was born May 2, 1947 to the late Thomas S. Allen and Christine Williams Allen, third child of four children.

Lillie attended school in Coweta County, travels took her to New York and returned to Atlanta, Georgia during her four decade career as a Menial Worker.

Lillie departed this life January 14, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare of Riverdale, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Christine Allen; sister, Loula Mae Ragland; brother, Jessie James Allen "Boot"; two nephews, Timothy Ragland and James Harper.

She leaves to cherish her memories, "Brother" Clifford (Christine "My Sister-in-law") Allen, Sr.; a host of nephews, Mr. Antonio Williams of Palmetto, GA, Dexter (Tausha) Ragland of Newnan, GA, Clifford Allen, Jr. of Newnan, GA, Antonio (Tammy) Wynn Sr. of South Haven, MS, Ajalin Wynn Sr. of Coweta County, Christopher Harper of Valdosta, GA, Frank (Karen) Harper Sr. of Fairburn, GA; nieces, Jennifer (Monte') Allen-Smith of Newnan, GA, Carolyn (Andrew) Spriggs of Jonesboro, GA Arrowhead Nursing Home, Tammy Ragland Guillett of Palmetto, GA, Coretta (Roger) McDowell of South Atlanta, GA.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, January 20, 2018 12:00 p.m. M. L. Middlebrooks Memorial Chapel Grantville, GA

INTERMENT: Olive Branch Cemetery

    Been knowing Sister for about 15 years.. she was wonderful person. She always did what she could to help people. She always spoke her mind on how she felt about anything it doesn’t matter. She will be truly miss by me and my family.. I love you sister
