Obituary For Frank N. Bell

Sewell Mortuary respectfully announces the passing of Frank N. Bell on March 26, 2017.

Funeral service is scheduled for Friday at 12:00 Noon at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church, in Gay Georgia.

On late Saturday night, March 25th, Frank Norman “Hucka” Bell transitioned to his Heavenly Home to be with the Lord.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 (NIV)

“Hucka” was the son of Mr. & Mrs. John Thomas (Lena Mae Gaston) Bell, Sr. Hucka was born on June 19, 1950, in Meriwether County, Georgia. He was educated in the Meriwether County School System. He joined Red Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

“Hucka” was retired from Tredegar Corporation a/k/a Bonnell Aluminum with 35 years of service.

“Hucka” was known for wearing his signature hats, love of cars, gardening, and making new friends. Even though he did not have children of his own, he was a hard-working man that helped provide for his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. George (Willie Pearl) Gaston; brother, Mr. John Thomas Bell, Jr.; brother-in-law, Mr. Joseph Alexander, Jr. A few hours following his transition his brother, Willie George, joined him in heaven.

“Hucka” leaves to cherish his memories devoted and loving sisters and brother: Ms. Melinda Sue Bell, Mrs. Georgia Mae Brown, Mrs. Margie Alexander, Ms. Ruby Nell Bell, Mr. Maxie Bell; special niece “daughter”, Mr. & Mrs. Anthony (Irene) Middlebrooks; god-daughter, Audrey Bell; sister-in-law, Mrs. Gladys Bell; aunt and uncles, Mrs. Ruby Driver, Mr. Rufus Gaston, and Mr. George Gaston, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
