With heavy hearts and profound sadness we grieve with all of you. Mrs. Blount was a truly special person, gentle, kind and loving in every way. I shall never forget how she embraced our family with her sweet, gentle and caring ways especially towards our brother, Allen. We all loved and held her in high regard. As she takes her well deserved rest, you rest too, knowing that she is surrounded in the heavenlies by your dad and the many loved ones and friends gone on before. It is well with her soul. Our heart goes out to each of you during this difficult time. Your mother was a truly remarkable woman. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love were reflected in everything she did and most of all, in the wonderful children she raised. She instilled in you the same warmth and compassion that made her so special, and her beautiful legacy lives in each one of you. I pray that God grants you comfort and peace as you navigate this deep loss. May He surround you with his love and give you strength in the days ahead. While she may no longer be physically present her spirit, wisdom, and love will always be with you, guiding and watching over you. Please know that you are not alone. We are here for you, ready to support you in any way we can. May her soul rest in eternal peace. With our deepest sympathy and love, Robin and Waymon Lolar

"May the work I've done speak for me." Well done, thy good and faithful servant! Your work screams. Thank you, Mrs. Blount, for your example of growing old with grace and dignity. Thank you for your example of loving Jesus and others and for faithfully serving Him with joy and gladness. Every moment in your presence was a treasured delight. Your welcoming demeanor and pleasant expression delighted the soul. You have fulfilled what the Lord required of you, and now we bid you rest from your labor and bask in your reward. Go rest high on that Mountain, for your work down here is done. Go to Heaven a shout-in, love for the Father and the Son. With fond memories, Chalton and Connie Askew

Our deepest sympathies go out to the Blount family in this the loss of your precious loving "mommie" & the Lawson family due to the loss of your mommie, mother in law & grandmother. Mrs. Blount was so loving. I remember Cheryl saying her mother always said "if you are a friend of Cheryl's you are a friend of mine." Our Cheryl also said one of her mom's favorite scripture was "I've never seen the righteous forsaken nor their seed begging bread. Psalm 37:25. When I hear that scripture I think of Mrs. Blount. RIP in the arms of our Savior Mrs. Blount. Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. We love you all. Michael & Deborah
