I am more than sorry to hear about the loss of my good friend Gladys. I will always remember how we rode the bus with our daughters when they were in the Band and how Juwarn finished the night in my daughter's bed with her and they ate breakfast together and went to school together. I have so many memories with Gladys!! Juwarn, prayers are rising for you and all the family!! So many loved Gladys but God loved her more. RIP my friend!!

I met Sis. Varner at the Morning Star Baptist Church - the House of New Beginnings where she worshiped with her daughter (Juwarn Middleton) and family when first arriving in Omaha, NE. I will always remember Sis. Varner's love for the Lord as it was obvious in her personal discussions and her open discussions during a class session she attended at Morning Star. Her legacy lives on in my life through her daughter and Son-in-Love and their grandsons as they, too live out the love that Christ demonstrated. I was blessed to have met and to know her.
