Eddie was a funny and really nice person who was very hardworking. The man could fix anything and he was good at finding things that could be used. He was kind enough to let me stay with him and my mother, Inga McElroy, when I wasn't working until I found a job. I drove to Atlanta from North Carolina the moment I received the news of his passing and I felt sadness. Not only for my mother, but for this man who has been so nice to me over the past few years. I met him on September 12, 2012 when he was a maintenance man in my apartments. It was my mom's birthday and he asked me what she liked to drink, and went to go buy it and brought it back later. From then on, I saw him all the time. May God continue to keep the Weathers family lifted up, and I hope Eddie is enjoying his father again.

May your memories comfort you as you grieve, "while you throw all your anxieties upon him (Jehovah God) because he cares for you" (1 Pet. 5:7).

Eddie, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for EVERYTHING that you've done for me. You warned me about making preparations for this day but neither one of us knew this day would come as quickly as it did. I ask God for understanding as I keep reliving that night wondering, "was there anything WE could've done differently to change the outcome?" I guess it's not for me to understand. I pray for peace as I come to terms with your death. Know that I loved you Eddie & I'll NEVER forget you. GOD HAS YOU IN HIS ARMS NOW AND I HAVE YOU IN MY HEART!?? Thank you, to the Weather's family & Eddie's children, for always showing me Love & kindness. May God heal all of your hearts.

To the Weathers family, Loved Ones and many friends. Anyone who knew Eddie there is not one unkind word you can say about him. He had a very large heart. There is nothing he would not do for you when asked. He was a "true jack of all trades"! He was a peaceful person. No harsh words ever spoken. We ask why and don't know why God called Eddie home...but God knows best. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't Heal. Rest in peace Eddie. You will be missed tremendously by a lot of people who knew you. Elaine and Shaun Baxter
