Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Daisy Brown on August 6th, 2019.

Funeral service is August 10th, 2019 12:00 pm at Branch Hebron Baptist Church in the Odessedale Community, Greenville Georgia.

Visitation will be from 3:30 pm to 6 pm August 9th, 2019 at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville GA.

Ms. Daisy L. McGhee Brown, daughter of the late Annie Ruth McGhee, was born December 17, 1948 in Greenville, GA. She departed this life on August 6, 2019 in Hospice of LaGrange, GA. She joined Branch Hebron Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Ruth McGhee; Brothers: Joseph, Curtis, and Willie McGhee; Sister, Nancy McGhee.

She also leaves to cherish her memories her father, Allen McGhee; life long partner, Charlie Murrah; five sons: Anthony Lamar McGhee Sr., Allen Leon (Annette) Brown, Travis Brown, all of Greenville, GA, Timothy (Veronica) Brown of Grantville, GA, and Albenjamin (Tharonda) Brown of Stovall, GA. 6 sisters: Pauline (Robert) Murrah of Manchester, GA, Maxine Cameron of Lanett, AL, Shirley (Terry) Brown of LaGrange, GA, Bertha Strozier of Greenville, GA, Jacqueline (John) Gates of LaGrange, GA, and Janie (Roger) Foster of Senoia, GA. 4 brothers: David Lee McGhee of LaGrange, GA, Eldren Talley of Greenville, GA, Roger McGhee of Lagrange, GA and Robert Russell of Mountville, GA.

She also leaves to cherish her memories 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives
