Condolences

  • July 03, 2015

I'm deeply sadden to learn of my High School Classmate illness and death. Although, I've not spoken to Cynthia in decades, heartfelt condolences to her family and closest friends are in order. My dearest memories are of Cynthia's quiet and peaceable spirit. I'm not at all surprised by her chosen profession to serve others. Cynthia's signature smile remains in my heart forever! Central High School, 1986 Class President, Letecia N. Stubbs, aka Nicole Phoenix

As you celebrate the life of a selfless and caring individual, may your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of time spent together until you meet again. "There is going to be a resurrection" (Acts 24:15).

My prayers go out to the Willis family. Cynthia was a great person and always greeted me with a smile in school. It's nice to know that she enjoyed her life here on earth and made a difference in the lives of strangers that crossed her path. I didn't get the pleasure of seeing Cynthia as an adult but just remembering her from high school, I know she was well loved by all the people she ran into. Rest in peace Cynthia.

My condolences to the family of my classmate Cynthia Renee Willis. It has been many years; some almost 30 years actually since last seeing that memorable smile. She was a gentle and kind spirit in school, so to read the path she followed in life in helping others, comes as no surprise to me. It already was preordained even 30 years ago. May comfort, peace and understanding be bestowed upon the family during this very difficult and sad time. Greetings being sent from the state of Maryland as a member of the CHS class of 1986. Rest Cynthia, your work on earth has been done. Your heavenly wings await you. Brenda Malone
