Sewell Mortuary respectfully announces the passing of Robert Parks, on September 29, 2025 (born June 14, 1961).

Funeral service is Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sewell Mortuary Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 5:00–8:00 PM at Sewell Mortuary.

Robert Ellis Parks was born June 14, 1961 to the late Mr. David Parks, Jr. and Annie Josie (Godfrey) Park of Luthersville, Georgia. He graduated class of 1979 from Greenville High School in Meriwether County. He was employed throughout his life with William Bonnell of Newnan and Lone Oak Tree Farm. Robert enjoyed fishing and gardening in his free time.

Mr. Parks departed this life on September 29, 2025 at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepchildren, Stephanie Grier and John Grier.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a loving wife of 40 years, Ida Grier; stepchildren, Tommy Weathers, Hazel Andrews, Lola White, Denice White, Michael Grier (Tracy), Arthur White (Yolanda) and Ralph Grier; his brothers, Frank Parks, James Parks (Florine), Bennie Parks, Sammy Parks and Larry Parks; his sisters, Mary Jean and Linda Ann (Johnny Dean); and a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.
