With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Margaret Sewell on May 13th, 2022.

Funeral service will be on May 20th, 11 AM at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Greenville Ga.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on May 19th, 2022 at Sewell Mortuary.

Margaret Haynes-Sewell departed this old World on May 13, 2022. She was born March 1, 1953, to the late Simmie Haynes and Florene Anthony-Haynes. She graduated from Woodbury High School in 1971. She was employed at UniRoyal in Hogansville for 20 years and Bo-Tech for 9 years.

She is proceed in death by brother Bennie F. Haynes and brother in law, Norman Slaton, Woodbury, Ga

Margaret enjoyed reading the Bible, attending Bible study meetings and flea markets. She loved helping others and was selfless and made sure she was there for those she loved.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Melvin and only son, Kerby (Aimee). Two stepchildren, Corey Parks (Charlene) from Warner Robins and Precious White, Newnan, Ga. Two granddaughters, Lexi Sewell and Allissa Graham, three step grandchildren, Corey Parks Jr, Jaxon and Tatum White.

Seven siblings Joe Haynes (Judy), Annie D. Slaton, Curtis Haynes, Linda Harris(Curtis) all from Woodbury, Ga. Angela R. Dunn(Willie E), Jacksonville, Fl. Brothers in law, Bennie Sewell(Mary) and Ronnie Sewell (Delois). One uncle L.C. Anthony and one aunt, Annie Bell Anthony both from Woodbury, Ga.

A special longtime friend and prayer partner, Mrs. Juanita Birts “Aunt Neet”. They talked daily on the phone “Sisters in Christ” A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
