Sewell Mortuary respectfully announces the passing of Deborah Thompson on December 12, 2025. Deborah was born on March 26, 1962.

Funeral Service The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive AME Church in Newnan, Georgia.

Viewing A public viewing will take place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the Sewell Mortuary Chapel.

Deborah Ann Thompson, affectionately known as "Deb", was born on March 26, 1962 in Warm Springs, Georgia to the late Mr. Ernest Clements, Jr. and Mrs. Sarah Clements. She departed her earthly life on December 12, 2025 at Emory University Hospital.

Deborah met the love of her life, Mr. Darryl Thompson and they were joined in holy matrimony in September of 2001 by her sister, Pastor Christine Adams-Felix.

Deborah worked at Tencate Protective Fabrics for 25 years and was a loving and caring woman and absolutely loved her family, friends and co-workers. She loved fishing, gardening and hanging out with her dog, Lady.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Clements; father, Ernest Clements, Jr; sisters, Christine Adams-Felix and Joanne Williams; and nephew, Bobby Alford, Jr.

Deborah leaves to cherish in her memory, her loving husband, Darryl Thompson; daughter, Olivia Thompson; grandson, Terrance Bush; sisters, Marion (Clark) Cleveland and Cherita Allen; special nephews, Andre Cleveland, Craig Cleveland and Warren Cleveland; her dear friend, Olah Rea Jackson; other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Sewell Mortuary.
